Our Goal

At Empire Boating Safety, our primary goal is to provide superior training and education to enhance your boating experience. Whether you are a novice boater interested in pursuing an aquatic adventure or a more experienced boater looking to refresh his/her skills; our curriculum encompasses material suitable for all audiences.

Class Details

• This New York State Parks & Recreation course is approved by  NASBLA (National Association of State Boating Law Administrators) and Recognized by the United States Coast Guard.  Your certificate will bear their logo.
• This class Satisfies the requirements for the NY State Boating Certificate
• 8-hours Required; can be taught in one 8-hour session or two 4-hour sessions Classes can be Open to the Public, Semi-Private or taught Privately

• Public - Centrally located classes that are open to the public
• Semi-Private - Classes are taught in our facility to a private group
• Private - We bring the classroom to you! Instructors come to your facility to teach the course

• Open to Family, Friends, Co-Workers, and your Community
• Taught by only qualified New York State Certified Instructors
• Classes are taught in comfortable, climate controlled conference rooms

Why would I need this Certificate?

• All persons operating a Personal Watercraft (Jetski) are required to hold this certificate
• All persons ages 10-18 must hold this certificate to operate a motorized boat
• Be knowledgeable about boating safety, navigation, and the rules of the road.
• Discount on your Boat Insurance with this Certificate (Subject to Insurance Company)
• This is a lifetime certificate and does not need to be renewed

Upon successful completion of our course, you will be issued a New York State Boating Safety Certificate
